Setting High Expectations At Global Resources’ 2013 Annual Meeting
By With the Presidential election over and rising consumer confidence seen in retail, housing, and automotive sales, the stage was set for Global Resources’ 2013 Annual Meeting.
After a breakfast buffet, Global Resources President David Danzig welcomed everyone gathered in the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel ballroom with a ‘state of the industry’ address.
Meant to prepare our employees to address the challenges (in the form of the newest Federal regulations, tax and health care requirements) and the growth opportunities for our business clients, the Annual Meeting was an event filled with presentations, hand-outs, and intense break-out sessions.
Here’s a well-deserved shout-out to our administrative team that facilitated the Annual Meeting running seamlessly and right on schedule. Thank you all for your hard work!
There was also time for relaxation and networking as a group of spouses (and an adorable baby) returned from a Woodfield Mall shopping outing to enjoy an evening reception with our attendees that featured a wide range of food stations (salad, sushi, pasta, meat, seafood, and dessert selections).
